“I’ve been through so much in my life. I’ve seen so much. I know how fast things can change. I know someone can be here one minute and gone the next.” ~ Lisa Marie Presley
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have caught up with the sad news that Lisa Marie Presley died suddenly the other day, aged only 54. I’m a similar age…it makes you wonder….how precious, fleeting and unpredictable life is.
I can’t stop thinking about her twin girls, aged only 14…too young to lose their mum. And of course, her other daughter and her mum, Pricilla. No mother wants to bury her own child. Lisa Marie lost her precious father, Elvis when she was only 9…and five years earlier when her parents divorced. And then, Lisa Marie tragically lost her son, aged only 27, when he took his own life. So much tragedy in her short life.
